Of course, the fandom ban doesn't apply to school hours.
Ashton had made the terrible mistake of accepting Celine's offer to fix him up. He wasn't proud of himself, but when he'd thought of it as strengthening their friendship through trust it hadn't seemed *so* much like taking charity.
"My last boyfriend was a Heraldic Mage, too," he'd confessed at some point during the conversation, against his better judgement. "This would be our six month anniversary..."
"Oh, *darling.*" Celine patted him on the shoulder. "What happened?"
"...I caught him in bed with someone who didn't have dragons on their back."
Celine smiled sympathetically. "Well, you know, *I* think your dragons are very exotic. I'm sure I'm not the only one. ...Of course, I don't know anyone personally, but I have connections... so would you like me to set something up?"
That had lead to a few weeks of Celine working her heart out. She never seemed quite as happy as when she was involved with other people's business. One day she had called him out excitedly and promised that she'd finally found him the perfect match. "You're 100% compatible," she'd said.
And now he was here, sitting across the table from a large man in an embroidered prison uniform who was apparently almost too happy to speak.
"So..." he started vaguely. "Um, Celine told me... you like dragons...?"
Big Earl nodded and grinned widely. He was in love.
