TV Tropes Character Meme
This is a meme that is intended for use with original characters, but I suppose it can also be used for characters of your favorite show/book/play/etc, as well. Rules are simple:
1. Pick between five and ten characters. No fewer than five, no more than ten.
2. Got your ten? Okay. Go to TV Tropes.
3. For each character, select a trope. There are lots, so have fun with poking around, but don't get too lost (though I will admit, it's very easy to do so)!
4. You can't use the same trope twice.
5. Why that trope for that character? It doesn't have to be a long explanation.
6. Tag others if you like!

The Tropes
1. Present - Kindhearted Cat Lover. When it comes to animals, Present is as much a cat person as he is a bird (specifically, a crow) person. (He also has a few feline qualities about him, but that's a whole different trope.) Quite possibly the only reason he hasn't become a crazy cat man is because I'm not sure where we'd put them all. Well, that, and my mom fears cats.
2. Conradas - Improvised Weapon. Conradas's weapon of choice is generally a crowbar. Occasionally, he'll use a gun or just his sheer badassery, but heaven help you if the man gets his hands on a crowbar.
3. Lucy - Hot Mom or Grandma, What Massive Hotness You Have. You could go either way here. Because when you look like you could be Christina Hendricks's sister, you automatically own this trope in spades.
4. Ean - Deadpan Snarker Jerk With A Heart of Gold. Though I was totally tempted to take the easy route and use Deadpan Snarker! Ean's... He's Ean. He's not trying to cover something up by being a jerk to 99% of the population, but if you fall within his 1% of those he actually cares about, you'll know it. Trust me on this one.
5. Eleanor - The Ladette. I wavered between choosing this one and the Bifauxnen trope, but The Ladette won out because Eleanor exemplifies more of the trope's qualities--except she's much more hygenically conscious! The only person on this list who rivals her for this trope? Emily.
6. Past - Beware the Nice Ones. Go ahead. Trip his Berserk Button by threatening harm to (or actually harming) his brother. Or trip the other button by insulting his mother.
7. Viticus - Ethical Slut. This sounds like a bad thing, but it isn't. TV Tropes defines it as a "character who lives by the rule that sexuality is good as long as everyone involved behaves responsibly and respectfully towards themselves and each other" and Viticus is certainly that. He believes in using protection even after he dies and he's very open and conscious of what he does. There's the small problem of his month-long attention span when it comes to most of his committed relationships, but...
8. Jamie - Wholesome Crossdresser. Outside of being a glamourous drag queen, Jamie's closet is full of everyday clothes for both genders, dressing either way depending on his mood that day. It should never be a surprise if one day he's dressed like a Fifties' housewife and just lounging in a t-shirt and jeans on another.
9. Annabelle - Yandere. Where do I begin? She could also possibly just be a victim of Love Makes You Crazy and Love Makes You Evil, but the things she does to Present and the way she behaves concerning him and getting him back... There's only person this trope applies to more, but Present doesn't like talking about them very much.
10. Claudio - Really Gets Around. Though he might argue that he's more The Casanova, that doesn't change the fact that he's probably seen more bedrooms than an interior decorator.
