It's normal to feel anxiety about going on a big trip, especially if the arrangements are being made by someone you don't know (like a friend) or trust implicitly due to business (like a travel agent).
It's also normal to feel anxiety about anything when there are other parts of your life that are not treating you well, or you are depressed about, or some combination thereof.
From the sound of it you haven't messed everything up; it's just a bit chaotic. Ride the wave of it. If this all suddenly came together, it sounds like it was meant to happen; it just may be a bumpy ride since it wasn't laid out carefully a long time in advance.
Once you get there and into the con atmosphere, I think you will enjoy yourself and be happy that you went. You just have to get through this period beforehand in which you have the time to think (in circles) about things rather than doing them.
You didn't mess anything up and I doubt you will. Now that you are near me...that is my department. ^_^ Everyone is right, with the fact everything seemed to come together after flying apart, it is meant to happen. Just go with the flow and it isn't the destination that matters in the end Firefly, its the journey and adventure you find along the way. ^_^
You didn't mess anything up. Jacob needs to have confidence in you to handle your own problems. As for stressing before doing something new, I spent months training for my first race, and the night before I got almost no sleep. I knew exactly what to expect and how to handle whatever was coming, but I still stressed. It is the nature of doing something new.
Don't worry if you miss my calls. You know I just call to see how how are what is going on.
