Ready for the first chapter? :D (Who am I talking to!?) Anyway, this is the first chapter of DOCORONKA. I was thinking of doing a cast list or something, but I think I'll just do that when I write the second chapter or something. Hopefully the English homework that I did just now didn't set me up to write a sucky chapter.
Ready, set, go!
Chapter 1
Introduction to DOCORONKA
"Ladies and gentlmen, boys and girls of all ages" the voice came booming from the speakers that surrounded the circus tent, "let's give a round of applause for our cannonman, Yuuichi Nakamaru!" As soon as he finished saying Yuuichi's name, everyone stood up and a noise as loud as the cannon itself erupted fromt he audience as they clapped and cheered as loud as they could for the amazing performance that they just witnessed. "Everyone may exit the tent from through the north or south exits. Please feel free to stop by any of the booths on your way out and purchase some souveniers to remember this brilliant day at DOCORONKA, flying circus!"
The applause lasted for a minute or so before people began to get up and leave. Kazuya could hear as they left the joyous laughter and rants of the amazing performances that they had just watched in the one hour performance of the Docoronka Brigade. Docoronka, (which is usually written in all capitals, but for the sake of the story, we won't write it like that... all the time), is a popular circus that travels all around the world. Docoronka, however, is not an ordinary circus. Docoronka transports itself by flying... and is always suspending in air; DOCORONKA, the famous, flying circus, is what it's known as. But not only is it amazing that it's the only flying circus in existance, but their performances are renowned throughout the world as being magneficent. And the performers were popular in their own right. All of them were popular for being "good looking", the most popular of course being the handsome ringmaster.
As everyone left the big tent, the performers lined up to wave to them farewell. It was their last performance in Seoul, so they would not see the people of Seoul for a long time, and that night, they were to get ready for their departure to Tokyo, to begin their tour of Japan. All of the performers were a little estatic inside, because they all came from Japan, so it would be a relief for them to return home after their tour around the world.
From the performers, there was the brave, liontamer. Handsome, with a face that anyone could fall for. Brave and heroric, like a knight in shining armor, Jin Akanishi. He was very popular among the ladies also, and whenever he performed, there was nothing else you could hear except for his name being screamed from every corner of the tent.
After Jin, there was the tall and gorgeous-faced acrobat, Junnosuke Taguchi. Always smiling and having a good time. His aura was that of a person who was always happy, bright, and cheerful. Although his role in the circus was that of the acrobat, he did other things that amused both the old and the young, such as juggling, which no one else in Docoronka could do. People looked to him and automatically viewed him as a prince, whose life wasn't that of a prince, but that of a true performer.
There was also Kouki Tanaka, who lived for nothing but the thrill of putting himself in "danger". He was the daredevil of the circus, the type of guy who would do something rough and dangerous, like riding a motorcycle across a highwire, fifty feet up in the air. When people saw him, they would think, that's one tough bastard. Kouki had the type of personality for being loud and overspoken, but in reality, he was kind and caring, especially towards all his friends in Docoronka.
Then, there was some comedy in all the performances. Of course, he didn't want to be the clown originally, but Tatsuya Ueda had no choice, really. Every night they performed, he would have to put on his clownish make-up and colourful, oversized clothes and shoes, and prance around the ring performing one-man gags for the audience. Of course, he didn't mind having people laugh, but sometimes he just didn't feel really into it.
The final performer was always Yuuichi Nakamaru, who would always be shot out of the cannon as the human cannonball. His performance was never long, and people rarely recognized him because of his short performance, where people wouldn't even see his face. But the magnitude of the applause afterward would always be reward enough for him.
The oldest member of the Docoronka family, Johnny, was the magician. He was the original person who set up Docoronka, and he knew all of it secrets. He had an assitant, Kou, who he thought of as loyal. The only person who knew all of his secrets. Except that of the secret of how Docoronka is continuously suspended in midair.
There were other people who helped run the circus also, such as the cotton candy girl, Satsuki, who sold cotton candy to people as they entered the tent and left the tent, and Rai, who took care of all the circus animals, cleaning them, and caring for them when they were sick.
Once everyone had finally left, everyone gathered around in the center ring to discuss their departure to Tokyo...
Sorry, this was really a boring chapter, but half of it was rushed, I guess. @_@ Anyway, thanks for reading. :)
