Yay! I'm glad to hear that things are going well for you guys. =) Yeah, Art and I knew that getting the couch up my apartment stairs was too much for both of us, so we hired movers from IKEA. I don't know how much smaller the referred to stairway is, but good luck! Maybe you could lob mattresses through the window...

I saw an advertisement on the bus today of a surprised looking musk ox hawking "In state tuition for everyone!" at summer UAF. Was really tempted to suggest to Art that he could take classes with you this summer.

Oh, and many apologies about my ignorance on the PBS thing. Eep. I guess I should have asked you more about Alaska in general.

P.S. Figured out who Chaia is on your friends list. [Uhm, thought I would let you know as to be less creepy? A way to figure out what you're up to during the update droughts? Please do let me know if you want me to stop checking and such.]

hehehe, no worries there Liz, stalk all you want ~_^. I've gots a package that I needs to mail off for you two sometime... been holding on to it since last Oct! *whistles* No worries about mistaking one of my uncles for me da- lol, lord knows there are enough Browers up here to easily do that. Its actually kinda funny, cause pretty much all the natives know various family names, and so when I say I'm a Brower, they immediately ask who my mom and dad are, then grandparents, uncles and the like. Takes a while to try and place folks ~_^. As far as the in-state tuition, yep, its a decent deal, once you pay for the cost of living. Chaia's going to take Oceans and Limnology, and I'm going to take a quick blacksmithing class. Should be fun.

Blacksmithing in addition to knifemaking? I suspect that when I actually make it up to Alaska, you might have your own armory by then. No Pirates of the Caribbean jokes here. You already have your treasure. =)

I have no idea what limnology is...but sounds like fun. Study of dolphins?

Package? There is no package. *waves hand in Jedi fashion*

Speaking of presents you shouldn't send us [^_^], someone's turning 23 tomorrow! Hint: he has the same pant size as I do. =) I think he would really like it if you dropped him a line, even a short one via email. ^_^

Wow! Cool! That doesn't sound boring at all. =) I got to go to New Zealand and sift pond scum for freshwater invertebrates in the name of biogeography...which my class learned almost nothing about. Well, except wading through razor grass in shorts is a bad idea. =)

*phew* I'm sure Stephan can give you a better introduction, but I'm Liz, one of the many friends of Stephan from LC. Art (my fiance) wanted to write you a comment on your LJ, but I dissuaded him since I worried that we would freak you out. But yay! All is good. You might hear from him in the future since he likes to talk. Thanks for letting us "stalk"/get updates from you!
