I watched 11'09''01 - September 11 on tv tonight. Ok, every channel had some 9/11 thing going on, but that seemed like the best one imo. And it was really a great movie. I loved that the segments were so different and the fact that 9/11 was sometimes just in the background and not that present in the story, but you still got a message out of it. I loved Claude Lelouch and Sean Pean segments because they were very touching. I loved Chile, India and Iran segments because they really make you think. I loved the African segment because it was the most entertaining. I loved Mexico and Japan segments because they were quite "in your face" fascinating.
I hate how 9/11 has become some sort of American patriotic holiday. It seems to be more a day to celebrate what a great country it is rather than remember the people who actually died there. It's not the 4th of July.
