I have been working quite a lot this week. It makes up for the last 2 weeks when I was at home almost all the time doing nothing. I should have taken that time to find a job cause now I'm too busy to. I suck. We're in a crossword puzzle phase at work. Yesterday, 4 of us were working on the same crossword. We all had our copy of the newspaper and everytime someone found a word, everyone wrote it down. hehe Also, someone was reading an article in which it said that Harry Potter has been translated into 63 languages and we had a debate whether or not we could name 63 languages and tried to. We got up to 43, I think, but weren't sure if some of them were even right.
Also went to see Walk The Line Tuesday. Joaquin Phoenix is... well... I don't know how to say it, but definitely worth watching. I was surprised that it wasn't nominated for Best Movie of the year. I was also surprised to see Good Night and Good Luck there, although I'm very happy for George Clooney. :) Disapointement: C.R.A.Z.Y. not being nominated for Best Foreign Film (and I'm still mad at them for not having given that Oscar to Amelie, but that's another story) and I think David Cronenberg should have been nominated for Best Director for A History of Violence. And it feels wrong that the 5 films in the best director category are exactly the same 5 films than in the best picture category. I want to see more nominated movies before the Oscar air. I need to see Crash and either Munich or Capote.
Speaking of movies and Oscars, here's what my roommate said after learning that the 2 guys in Brokeback Mountain were actually shephards and not really cowboys:
"They are shepheards? But that is so... gay."
well, duh!
