Oh Memphis...
We were having a discussion at work today regarding a breaking message one lady received about King Willie's newest attempt to consolidate the city & county... he's trying to pass legislation that blocks Collierville, Germantown & Bartlett from having a vote at all about whether they consolidate.... he also said...in his rambling way.. that black people lived in this city, lots of them, and that white people just needed to get over it b/c they aren't leaving... Is he trying to start a race war in this city? It's always been predominately black ... and we've never had the amount of crime and grunge as we've had since he was elected.... anyways... the conversation ended with...
Employee: "Oooohhh it's not like he can live forever..."
Me: "I bet that's what they said about Castro..."
