Conquering work emails

Nov 16, 2006 13:10

I don't know how many of you who read this, send emails as part of your job but it's a tricky tricky thing. More often than not when I have to send "sensitive" emails our regional manager has something to point out that I didn't say, didn't say in a nice way, or should've just left out... but not this time....

The Carmichael entry # is referenced on all our delivery orders. It seems
the trucker we used to move the frt from California, had another trucker
deliver it to you and issued them a delivery order. I will put instructions
on future deliveries to include the entry # on all paperwork. I will also
provide Tracey and yourselves with the truckers Pro# when I scan documents,
as this is the usual reference on their paperwork.

On this POD,  their prior carrier/ frt bill no  is the pro# we key into the d.o. screen for tracking purposes and is the only reference I see that matches anything that would be in our system.  I am sorry you had difficulty finding and matching the documents. I hope by taking these steps on future shipments we can  avoid these delays.

Best Regards,
Beth Good
