20-Day SW meme. Part2
Day 02 - Episode you don't like
There is not an episode that I don't like. So I'm going to say something about my least favourite - The Phantom Menace. Ironicaly, it was the first episode of the saga I've seen. But in retrospect it's the one that interests me the least.
There are still great parts, for example the podrace on Tatooine. I like how the character of Anakin was introduced as a sweet little boy. I also liked the fight at the end, both in space and the sword fight.
I couldn't really connect with Qui-Gon. I liked young Obi-wan and even Padmé but I couldn't bring myself to care about his character. Then there is Jar Jar, who I generally try to ignore. I just think Artoo and Threepio are far better comic relief. Then there is all this political stuff going on - on Naboo, Coruscant... and I don't care about that at all.
It's still a great film, I still watch it on ocasion, but it's the one that I'd miss the least. :)
