I'll just concentrate on the only good things I saw in Doctor Who 'Waters of Mars':
1) Lindsay Duncan as Captain Adelaide Brooke. She was fantastic! Yet another character we won't see again, thanks to RTD's 'dramatic' writing.
2) Trina from Eastenders! Too bad she turned into the water zombie.
3) Cameron, the Aussie doctor from Queer as Folk! Haven't seen him on TV for a while. I always wondered why Vince broke up with Cameron. Surely it's not that important to remember all the eight Doctors? That was an early example of RTD's writing. Should have been a warning to us but really, how were we supposed to know!
4) Grandmothers inspiring granddaughters -- oh yes! Shame that the only way they're allowed to do that is by dying.
5) Yuri's brother and his husband -- yes, there will be progress for LGBT rights in this world!
