Satan-
I don't know how to say this, so I'm just gonna go ahead and say it. I'm dating a white dude. He's great but I'm ashamed to bring him around to my peoples. Also- he looks like Powder. Great movie, huh? http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001218/
One of my friends said that to truly love someone, you should be able to respect and revere them. I like and respect this guy a lot, but could I ever revere a white person? And a dude at that? I just choked back some vomit, thinking about it.
What do you think? Does Satan love anyone?

~Found myself doing what I said I'd never do and it's not heroin

Dear "...it's not heroin,"

first off, Satan has a LOT of love for his friends--a bottomless amount. however, in the words of a classic Snoop Dogg ditty, "i have never met a girl, that i love in the whole wide world...."

secondly, respect and reverence? that is some CRAP. you should respect everyone, but you should only revere ME and maybe yourself.

i think reverence is pretty overrated stuff. notions of leaders and visionaries....we learn in kindergarten that everyone is special in their own way, but we spend the rest of our life learning the complete opposite, that so and so is PARTICULARLY special because of blah blah, or someone else is special because of blah blah--eat 50 hot dogs in 12 minutes, score 81 points in one game.  it's not that these things aren't special. it's just that reverence for others often comes along with socially defined ideas of WHAT is considered notable, which inherently defines another set of things as trivial. and the truth of the matter is that no person is trivial. all souls are equal. Satan takes on all comers. so, buck up and find the value in everyone.

i was talking to Buddha yesterday (two figures whom I imagine you revere), and he seemed to believe that compatibility was primarily about shared world views, the notion that people might have different experiences, but ultimately, they arrive at similar value systems, politics, hopes, dreams, visions, etc. personally, i think that a similar world view is a pretty solid foundation, but it isn't necessarily required for compatibility.  i think compatibility with someone entails 1) someone who can understand your world view and is further interested in exploring that 2) someone who is wholly communicative (i.e. likes to share their thoughts, especially in regard to the relationship's good and bad parts) and 3) someone who inspires you to want to learn more about them and the world in general.  in addition, and perhaps most importantly, all these components must be MUTUAL.  in summary, compatible people must be interested in each other, communicate well, and inspire each other to learn.

and that's just compatibility! that's a far cry from romance--hot sizzling dirty dizzy sultry sexual experimental romance.

ps. the notion of you revering a white person also makes me sick. BUT, the possibility that you could be compatible is not impossible, just incredibly INCREDIBLY slim...and shrinking, like asymtotically getting smaller and smaller, so much that if the probability of your being compatible with a white person was f(x), then given any epsilon (where epsilon is a real number), there exist such an x such that f(x)-epsilon<0.
