You would think I liked moving......
Thursday, sent home from work sick. Friday morning still sick, planning on calling into work. Knock on my door at 7:30 AM...police officer WHAT?!
"Ma'am, are you the owner of this vehicle?"
"yes"
"are you aware that you are the victim of a break in?"
"NO!?"
"get your id and come with me"
Sweet Lordy, for the second time in my life-different vehicle, my passneger window was shattered and this time they jacked my stereo. Wonderful.
This is in a long line of breakins within the complex, they hit 6 other cars the night they hit mine. I for one was not going to wait around for them to hit my apartment next. I got them to release me from my lease and went out to find a new apartment....all being sick. A friend of mine lives in a nice complex so I call them. God literally put this in my lap...no deposit, no fees just $35 for the application and I'm in, on a special at that.
All in the same day, car broken into, found a new place to live and broke my old lease. I bought boxes and packed the entire apartment in one night and with help of all my friends moved in the new apartment in one trip the next day.
I literally died Saturday night with the help of Thera-Flu and slept ALL day Sunday...in between unpacking actually. I couldn't just lay around with all of that laying around next to me. Woke up MOnday morning feeling SO much better and SO much safer. I LOVE the new place, it's bigger, cooler AND it's 5 minutes if not less from all my friends. AWESOME. It takes me the same amount of time to get to and from work and it only takes 5 minutes to get to church now...again...AWESOME.
It's the most amazing thing to me that God took a negative situation and turned it into the most positive thing ever. He knew I wasn't safe in that complex and heard my prayers to remove me from it. I just love how He did it.
