I am returned... and I'm tempted to sit and flush the toilet for hours. Oh God. North American bathrooms ♥
And do you know what an amazing feeling it is to be cold again? Go go 80 degree temperature decreases!
I suppose by now, perhaps, most of you may have heard of the insane rotavirus epidemic sweeping Central America. It indeed paralyzed a good portion of our group for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, but more on that later. I miraculously avoided illness (I think because rotavirus is what the doctor thought I had in December,) but my friends and readers will not be disappointed to note that I was the first official injury of the trip. On the first day. Of course.
But, hell, I just spent the past 15 hours in various airports, airplanes, buses, and cars in assorted nations, so I am (understandably, I hope) tired. I'll try to update tomorrow with pictures, if I can squeeze the time in around my 6-hour shower.
