So there's a traditional Christmas routine that's supposed to play out every year. Same people, same house, same food.
But I agree with
_lexizzle that Christmas this year was different. The crowded suburban house now a crowded inner-city apartment. Some guests expected were no longer there, some new (tiny tiny) people on the guest list. The little boys once dressed in sandos and shorts now in ties and vests. Less big gifts and more small envelopes. :D
Despite changes (a few somewhat jarring and highly unwelcome), it was fun. Although I do miss the old Christmasses too. But anyway. It was a very MERRY CHRISTMAS. Slap my hand, you bitches. Yay! :D
