Little bit of this and that...
My youngest son and his friends like to play this board game called "Settlers of Catan" and often for Christmas asks for an extension pack or whatever for his game. It's not a computer game - it's a flat out board game.
Apparently they have a World Championship....and my son's best friend recently won as the US Champion - selected to represent the US at the championship in October...IN BERLIN!!!
Seriously!! A board game gets this kid an all expenses paid trip to Berlin to play a board game. *shakes head* And of course, since it's J's best friend, he will probably be tagging along - as C can have one other person in his hotel room for free.
Oh and for those who recall the trauma the last time traveling with passports was involved....his passport is current. lol
I've been busy canning preserves and working on fic things and trying to stay afloat at work.
What's everyone else been up to??
