So we've had a pretty good weekend so far. Got a very late and rocky start getting out the door yesterday, but still made it to Revere semi-ontime. Paul and I each had fun making different types of trouble at the Cam game. It was nice playing again; feels like it's been forever. Got plenty of time to visit with our hosts, which was great.
For those not in the know, escapingatrophy is apparently one of "those people." You know the ones. The people who radiate that weirdly approachable aura that causes random (and often crazy) strangers to involve them in their own personal dramas, or just treat them like someone they've known for years. Me, I'm told I radiate an aura of "bitch." escapingatrophy says this is because I am a bitch. I suspect she is correct in this assessment.
Anyhoodle, we had a good time. Took our sweet time getting home, stopping for Ben & Jerry's at a rest stop on the Mass. Pike and for Paul to take a quick nap while I listened to disgruntled Mets fans call for Willie Randoph's head on WFAN. But now we're home. And we're going to relax. (Well, Paul is. I'm going to fix the tragic state of my nails.)
