Bloomberg is a very capable person and might add some strength on economic stuff to Obama's candidacy, but nothing else. Do we really forgive Bloomberg? He was up there for Dubya back in the '04 election. We should be concentrating on Ohio and Florida. I don't think Obama picks up any other red state.

I like the Bloomberg I've seen. Am I thrilled that he was calling for support for Dubya? No. Obviously not. But he's a creative thinker who isn't afraid to push an unpopular position if he thinks it's a good one, and he doesn't have to depend on special interests for anything.

Oh, and by the way? Why is it OK for McCain to actively seek the endorsement of a nut who thinks Katrina was God's punishment and that Hitler was sent by God to force Jews into the Promised Land and then go "Oh, no! He said what? My bad!" but Obama is still catching shit because his preacher has gone insane? Oh, right. Because the type of Republicans who are keeping the Rev. Wright conversation alive are the type of people who agree with Hagee's bigoted bullshit.

Hillary is just as much to blame for keeping that alive. Also, it's worth noting that the Falwell scandal killed the campaign... remember, McCain is a zombie, returned from the dead because of that and a number of other factors.

You're right about Hillary. She's been milking that for all it's worth.

I think maybe I'm just fatigued on being pissed at Hillary and am looking for someone new to be pissed at.

Then we couldn't see the Obama/Wesley Clark ticket. Which would be the sexiest thing since...well...sex.

What I can't get over is the idea that people would vote Republican out of spite. How fucking moronic is that. I apologize in advance for calling your aunt fucking moronic, but jebus. Am I supposed to admire their grit? While they potentially put my ass under Republican care for another 4 years.

Frankly I blame hillary on this. Seriously. She stands at a podium - the party will come together. She sits back in her lair - Hee! hee! Look at my cultists.

It infuriates me too. I had a HEATED debate with my mother and my aunt over this. Sure, fuck over the country out of spite! That'll show 'em!

Or it'll make everyone's lives even worse, but t least Hillary's precious ego will be salved.

McCain recently disavowed Hagee's endorsement, and Hagee withdrew his endorsement.

Actually, that was about him rejecting a second pastor. But it includes a mention of him rejecting Hagee, too.

If you go to news.google.com and search for McCain Hagee, you'll probably find several news articles. That was one of the first ones I pulled up.
