Long Time, No Update
So far this week, I've had the best and worst week I have had in a longgg time.
This weekend Remco and I went to Chateau de Raay in Baarlo, Netherlands. There, he hid the ringbox in my Eeyore and when I was lying on the bed, I found his "Treasure". Then Remco got on his knees and asked me in Dutch, would I marry him? I answered Yes in Dutch. Then we proceeded to have an amazing weekend.. The ring is absolutely gorgeous. I am so grateful, we've come through everything and I know that I have someone I've loved so much I've given up my life for, glad I've had someone who will fight for me because he loves me the same way in return, and am glad he's stood beside me in these last months through my personal hell... I know ALL things work out in time. I have my Knight in Shining Armor and even the castle to prove it :D We set the date for 27 May 2010- because its the anniversary of us knowing each other 11 years, but also one set of his grandparents wedding anniversary and the others were engaged on that date. I say it is a sign or something... Weird.
Second best thing,I made a department change at work to Procurement. This means a function change and within a year a very "pretty" raise. And I begin to train as an Expeditor. This makes me happy. Work is tough, but hell, at least I have a job... And it is one I LOVE!!!
But on the shit side, the official diagnosis of PCOS is in! I'm still in denial, but its in and in April we go to the fertility specialist to see what role this will play in it for me. I have an appointment with the dermatologist in order to get things in motion for my acne and hair... Remco was at the appointment with me and will continue to be there for me through this. He's an Angel to put up with me through the hot flashes, the mood swings, the weight gain, the yelling at my body for betraying me, and just holding me when I fall apart and start crying because of the injustice of it all....
Anywho, that has been my life in the past couple of months... I'll try to start updating on a regular basis.... I promise..
