I finally feel ready to come home. It's been a while and I haven't been homesick until now. I will miss school and everyone here, but I can't wait to be back in Silver Spring with everyone...
I registered for my next semester classes. They are: Micro Economics, Islam, Statistics, Hispanic Literature II, and Honors Philosophy. If things go well then I will be in African and Carribean Religion instead of Islam, but we will see. I'm looking forward to this schedule a lot.
For an English paper I am rewriting Oedipus Rex in the modern-day ghetto, complete with Oedipus gouging his eyes out with heroin needles at the end (thanks Joe Vo). My teacher's response: "Um. wow. interesting. Next person?" Nevertheless, I'm actually pretty excited about it.
