a-k connect, baby!
Yesterday, Kait and I did possibly the most insane yet awesome thing ever. We decided it would be cool if we had a small hole in the wall between our rooms, so we could talk to each other and "pass notes" and small objects (eg. tampons) though. We had been talking about this for about a month, but last night we decided to put this plan into action. We went next door in search of sawing tools and found Isaac's dagger. Then Kyle came and brought a butterknife which helped alot. It was a process, but it only took a couple hours. Now we have a 4" square hole above both our beds, with neat little frames and flaps that cover it up. We also have a towel that fits inside it and blocks sound when needed. It is so perfect.
Obviously, we will fix this before the end of the year to avoid fines. Regardless of how cool we think it is, pretty much everyone thinks we are idiots, which is somewhat disheartening.
Today Nicole and I start working for Mallik! This is the beginning of something beautiful, I can feel it.
