Be hopeful in a situation beyond your control

I tend to feel hopeful in most situations beyond my control. It isn't often that I feel dire in relation to stuff. Now, in relation to myself... well. Let's not go there.

Dance lesson yesterday was a bit frustrating. We were learning a new move (underarm spin, reverse underarm spin) that we had trouble getting the hang of. But other than that, it was still a good time. I am going to be disappointed when they are done.

We managed to find another Asian Pear yesterday tree to replace the one that died. I was very very happy about that. I was sure we wouldn't find another. But we did, and it is currently settling into it's new home in my front yard. We also picked up a well-grown hibiscus to put in as our focal point in front. All in all, i was pleased with our foray into Lowe's garden section.

I took some macro photos of my birthday flowers yesterday - I hope they turned out well. I'll have to pull them off the SD card to check them out. Perhaps sometime today or tomorrow.

Blessings and Flowers to all.
