in which i am whiny
Oi.
I had one of those headaches that had me in bed by 10:30 last night. For those who know me and my schedule - you are aware that 10:30 is farkin' early for me to be calling it a night. I took a tylenol3 left over from my root canal and curled up and tried not to cry. I ended up being awake most of the night, tossing and turning, unable to sleep despite the codeine. Of course, because I'd taken the codeine, i was unable to dig out something else that might have helped - such as a PM or more painkillers. Bleh. I was still awake when MK got up to get ready for work with my head still trying to eject my eye from my eye socket.
Today is gonna be one of those 'fragile' days.
My sister called and chatted at me early afternoon yesterday. It was nice to hear from her - despite me not being all that interactive from my headache, we still had a nice talk. She's thinking about visiting via space-a to the naval air station in p'cola sometime soon. My only concern is that space-a in RETURN to where you want to go is notoriously suckage. MK, while he was active duty, had to BUY a plane ticket back to japan once, because he couldn't get a space-a flight back. I ended up staying in misawa (and getting married) when i couldn't get space-a back to yokota, etc etc etc. However, it WILL be nice to see her and Kea again.
Got my passport photos taken. Now i just need to fill out the form and send in my old one for renewal. It has me a hair concerned, because my old one is in my maiden name. I've got a copy of the translation of my marriage certificate with my passport, but ... it's ... well. Unusual. It was done in japan. Their formatting and wording and such - it just makes a person raise an eyebrow and go "is this for real?" I -really- hope it doesn't cause troubles. Anyhow, is it November yet? I wanna go on my cruise.
