Dec 11, 2017 00:25

Today's topics: 2D tilings using tangrams; two fun activity games (counting steps and odd & even numbers); personal work (spatial thinking - 2D nets of 3D cubes; numbers and quantities - winter themes).

Trying to make shapes pre-drawn on paper using a given set of tangram pieces. It is not easy - only a special arrangement of the pieces will exactly fill the ouline!

A special smaller shape for every child, and a large one for everybody to work together.

Studying even and odd numbers using wooden cubes.

Odd and even numbers acivity: jump out of the carpet for even, stay in for odd!

Even and odd numbers on paper plates.

Another physical activity game: how many steps to the cat?

Finding right and wrong cube nets.

Coloring nets and making them into cubes.

Roll your cube on a path, and color its "trace" (using the colors of faces that touched the paper).

Work on matching numbers and quantities, and numbers that add up to 10. (See the last photo!)
