This is probably the most difficult piece I've done in a very very long time.

It's also the first full body picture I've done in years. I'm still struggling with colouring, but oh well. But I really like the feeling the pic gives off, Just the way I wanted it to turn out. Serene, nostalgic...
When I drew it I was imagining this takes places before Fingon and his people march for the battle later known as Nirnaeth Arnoediad, the Battle of Unnumbered Tears in which he'll lose his life. He's contemplating their chances to win and he thinks back on happier times in Valinor and in Beleriand before the Dagor Bragollach.
BTW, I have started drawing a portrait of Mik, so expect that one soon!!!!
