Quick colouring practice. Drew portraits of Silmarillion characters. It's not easy to transform the image of them I have in my mind into a drawing. But I did my best.

Yesterday I have reread a wonderful Silmarillion fanfiction about the Meadhros/Fingon paring Under the Curse by Finch. It's the best fanfic for this pairing I've found so far. But it always leaves me with such a sad feeling. It has a good ending and yet, the whole story is so tragic. It's like reading The Silmarillion itself. One may not notice at first reading, but when you read it again, the impending sense of doom and the futility of the character's actions makes me always a bit depressed.
To evil end shall all things turn that they begin well....
