Only one I can think of is Johnny Depp, but he doesn't exactly fit in with the CW crowd, does he?

Ah thank you, and that is kind of the point, I'm looking for an actor who is definetely not part of the CW crowd. So that could be an interesting suggestion. Thank you very much for that.

Hmmm, method actor, point of obsession, that makes me think of Christian Bale, what with him losing shedloads of weight for The Machinist. Also John Malkovich (sp?) and Kevin Spacey, I find them both charismatic and strangely attractive.

Daniel Day Lewis purportedly takes method acting to an extreme level. So does Dustin Hoffman. I haven't heard this said about any of the younger actors (except Jensen).
