i'm back!
There has been drama that has happened within our group of friends the past couple of months and I have written paper entries to work out my feelings regarding the situation and our friendship as well as keeping RL people out of here. I have come to the conclusion that despite knowing someone forever, people change and whether it's a long phase they are going through or whether this is the person that they have become now... you can only help those who help themselves. if they cannot respect you as a friend and at the very least be honest with you despite the millions of years of friendship.... you can only take their actions as a lead.
Secondly, i've come back from my trip to London. it was wonderful. I spent so much time walking around, exploring places, sightseeing and learning things. the hubby was not used to walking an average of 8 miles a day (we did 12 miles in Paris) but at least we had a hotel room with a tub where we could soak at day's end. Food was ridiculously expensive... we were wondering how the locals ate or do they really get paid so much? to realize the bottle of coke you're drinking cost $6 made me sick. lol. this is another vacation where i have sought out a walking tour -- the Jack the Ripper walking tour. i highly suggest these types of walking tours where they take you around a part of a city where you can learn about an interesting time in their history.
