Repooooo Man!
So my knee lately have been acting up again. Can’t even clean something off the floor or whatnot and sit back on my legs without my right knee letting go. It didn’t feel like it popped out, more like pop out and the joints scraping against each other. Yeh I felt ill. It didn’t help that I was running about on floor the next day, ending up doing it again trying to clean a cheese spill on the ground. Which also people don’t look where they are going, almost stepping on me and the mess. Seriously? So twice in 2 days, knee not happy. Which adds to what insomnia I have lately too. I’m trying to find a way to ease it. I bought a support wrap, after the third try since the previous ones were too small for a medium, the second the stabilizers popped out of the stitching. So returned that, got a different make, a bit more expensive of course, bleh. And adjustable in wrapping; not a sturdy as the others but not too bad so far. Soaked my legs in the tub for a bit, it eased in stiffness. Juggling with the hot/cold compress to ease some more of the annoyance of the pain. Also trying out a different take on medication, trying something for arthritis to see any difference, if not then it’s not that and it’s the scraping of joints. -shudder- and we would be back to the idea of shaving inches of them in order for them to stop what they’re doing. Gah, turns my stomach.
So I’m not sure with the recent floor shifts I’m getting. 4 out of 5. If I were demoted in some sense, I would at least like to be informed about it; especially if they feel that they do not need my services at box nor as treasurer. At least I can try to look for a second employment to help with the bills. (so far, pay is the basically the same) or in case of a full stop. Anyways, tired ramblings. Stupid knee. I’m ready for GeneCo to replace it now. But then again I might have trouble paying off the bills with work being odd. -lol- I do believe that would be a predicament. XD
So the other day, I popped in after work at the corner book store, the tiny cramped book store where it was horribly hot to stand in even with the door open. I was in there barely 10 minutes. Anyways. Out of curiosity, I wanted to ask the owner if they had any of Max Ernst books. Perhaps I’d get lucky. Well lo and behold, he had just recently purchased a book with the artist’s work. As he helped a previous customer, I went through it. I was hoping to find more on “Une semaine de bonte” but, the rest was wonderful. The price of the book however wasn’t as wonderful. Close to 40$ for it and even at the no name branch of book store. I told him that I would think about returning to purchase it in the future and settled on something I spotted in the cooking section. “Love at first bite, a vampire cookbook”. Gawds this book is amazing. I am amused by it, especially the titles of the recipes. Once I got home I went through it and chuckled to close to an hour; I was half distracted by messages and tv. XD
So my cable had started to do that corrupted thing again when I demand* a movie. I’m wondering if Rogers is having another problem and has to go through another day of rectifying it or it’s actually the cable outside my apartment this time. But when I woke up the next morning, it seems other tenants are having the same issues and had called Rogers because I heard them as they called on the intercom. Well I got up and got ready for the day and was trying out ordering a movie to ready for them to see the corruption; and they wouldn’t have far to go when I would call in. It was fine. So I’m not sure if it were fixed or not.
It rained today but there were enough movies on tv to keep me preoccupied from checking to demand one, so I have no idea if it’s every time there’s a storm or rain shower. :/
And in a bit of fangirlism that I had to go through. Alice is back. No not Alice Cooper, although that would be wyked. :D American McGee’s Alice is back and even more mad than ever. I can’t wait for it to be released. Again, I would buy the huge box, hopefully it will come with a booklet again or even more goodies.
Lately I want the company of a cat. I really need to wait in case on how long I stay here or what.
Noticed that they’re making a supernatural series based of Stephen King books again. Of course it’s on Showcase, which I don’t have. But I want them to do “The Dark Tower“. When oh when?
