Moving and Down with the sickness V
Took most of the day but I am here. (Is obviously updating by net cafe, days after.)
It was just me and Dan. Mark was in Brockville. It took 4 trips with a break in between and of course traveling. I felt a bit bad for not being able to take heavier boxes and items and for him to carry my bed and such pretty much on his own; dumb weakling me lol. Once it was done, he left to go home and I called my mother for mother's day and let her know that I was moved into my place. Realized that there no ceiling fixtures for the living room or my bedroom, so lamps will be one of the first things to get. But first, must talk to landlord already. There's still glass on my floor from the window and the broken blinds and half stuffs are done to the place, not huge ones but little one like the medicine cabinet/mirror, still has rust from a previous tenant. It made me give up a bit early tonight, the glass since I stepped on it a bit, luckily no cuts and put back the shoes that I had been wearing all day. And I might as well get back in track to get hydro to pay a visit when I'm there this time; hopefully won't charge me but it's hydro, they like stuff like that. I don't think my stove is even plugged in since it has the clock set ups for it and I'm in no mood on pulling it out and such. Maybe I'll leave that for them tomorrow.
I'm not really tired but my nose had been bugging me all day and now my sinuses are aching. I might actually sleep early than usual and crash some more. My cough is still persistent, up to the point that I had to do a run to shoppers since the mall didn't have what I needed and of course a line. :/ Geez who cares if the bread is 1.19 or 1.29 just buy the damned thing for Frell's sake.
I'm apparently on call tomorrow and I hope I'm not needed. I know I need all the extra money that I can, especially missing out on 2 days of work, but I'd rather unpack and make myself comfortable as I can until the rest of my stuff arrives. I know mother is bringing me extra goodies and even Gilles is coming up. Will thank him properly and not just over the phone. I'm going to have call dad and see if he's coming up around the 18th or what. I'm still going to end up getting a small set of plates if there's nothing instead of actual paper plates. Hopefully mother won't bring me a set, she's done enough already.
