I am still miffed that I do not qualify for work study. However, that does not mean that I am without recourse. Kevin has a subscription to the News-Gazette. I was going to read the Sunday edition for possible employment, but I forgot the goddamn paper at his house yesterday. After school, I will have to get it. There is also a job fair in the Parkland Art gallery on September 13 that I am planning on attending. If I cannot find a job in the paper, or at the job fair, there is always temp agencies. However, Kevin told me those agencies will garnish my wages so they can get paid. I guess a temp agency would be a last resort.
Now, I am not a picky person. I only want a part-time job that a)is not retail, and b)I can tolerate. I would be perfectly content with some data entry job, or some clerical position filing things away. Unfortunately, I have a feeling I need more job experience in those fields than I currently have. *grumble*
