Voice, exemplified ina ranking of Tolkien's most metal D\deaths
I got a kick out of this post by Tolkien metallica fans (of which there are more than a few). It's not so much the ranking that make me snicker, it's the voice.
If it had been written in an earnestly neutral Wikipedia voice, I probably would have read about half, and moved on. Voice is so intrinsic, especially to visual writers like me, to define it is to , I dunno, list the details of your spleen. You know it's there, working away. But you can't see it, and you're visual.
