Random opinions about the Avengers movie

- So...everything that happened, all that loss of life and property destruction - that was all Tony's fault. Ooops.

- I get Bruce going along with Tony the first time, but the second time? Facing the end of the world and Tony's pitch is 'we're mad scientists, own it'? If he'd at least had some sort of input like, I think this could work' instead of just looking worried, sorry, but he just came across as ineffectual.

- I was shipping Natasha/Bruce LIKE WHOA from the first hand stroke, but from hand stroking to 'I adore you' seemed just a bit FAST, even given the End of the World adrenalin.

- I just don't understand Bruce being all about running away and hiding and abandoning the team and the world. Where exactly did he think they were going to hide when Ultron was literally going to wipe out all living beings? LOVED Natasha not going along with it, am now sad for her that he's pissed off to sulk.

WOW, Bruce really did NOT shine in this movie, did he? Of course, I am shallow and like my Avengers to be shiny, which isn't fair on them. The point was, I suppose, that most of them are pretty broken people anyway. (my fave Hulk movie was the Eric Bana one with the child abuse backstory, now that made sense)

- CLINT'S SAFEHOUSE. I imagined I could hear the anguished screams of the Clint/Coulson pairing going down in flames. They didn't just metaphorically run over it, they backed up several times just to make sure. I'm going to miss him living in the Avenger tower's ducts.

I liked that they demonstrated how important he is to the team, while showing that he's more vulnerable and human than the others. Just that exhausted, resigned look when he sees the kid in the rubble, and he doesn't hesitate - so awesome.

- JARVIS. THE FALCON. WAR MACHINE. SCARLET WITCH. SO VERY, VERY EXCITED.

- My fave bit was of course, Nat's comment about Steve and Tony staring into each other's eyes, but closely followed by Quicksilver's look of outrage at getting clipped by the cop's bullet and the cop's sheepish apologetic look.
