This is why I’m in bloody Belgium again.
*nods* I can sympathise, I've been to Belgium ;)
I did Virgil in Latin in school but sadly I don't remember him getting up to anything like this!

But very, very funny, and very well done :)
Yay! I haven't got much confidence in writing comedy so horray! =)

You mean the ancients weren't all secretly lusting after each other! *gasps* I must've had my slash goggles on when I read about Greek/Roman gods then!

I think you write comedy very well! You should write more of it :D

Don't be silly, of course they weren't! There was nothing secret about it! ;) I adored classical mythology as a child and still do in fact (hence my username) but sadly Virgil will be forever associated in my mind with Higher Latin.
Btw have you read Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials? There are two heartbreaking winged gay angels in the latter half of the trilogy.

Once my angsty plot bunnies have run its course. Though... I have a vague idea that I want to do something humourous for my Sin prompt.

You're right. Their artwork speaks for itself.
I'm curious. In Dan Brown's Angels and Demons Robert Langdon says that the Pope ordered the castration of roman statues in St Peters. Did that actually happen?

It's always been Dante for me, even though I've only read half of Inferno.

I have, but that was almost a decade ago! I don't remember much about it except that there's a talking polar bear, stardust and a knife that can cut through dimensions.

Though, as an ancient history expert, I'm sure you're being recalcitrant about my treatment of Virgil's character. ;)

I suspected it might be this one, after the hint you dropped

I am going to read Dark Materials again. I loved the first book best. The 3rd book felt awfully sad. And I just remember wishing I had a daemon.
Thanks for sending A W to be with angels.

Tell me that part 2 (in which our hero angel gets his salad tossed,) is already mostly written!
Well I've only ever really intended this to be a one off thing - though I can see Angel!Sex would be very interesting. The positions!
Better not go there... *g*
