One of the fun things about baseball season is that I am watching over-the-air local channels, and seeing some crazy commercials. They're new to me right now, so they're still fun and yet lovingly familiar. This crazy commercial for Shoot Straight gun store ran tonight, I wish I could find it online but alas. I'll try to explain it: it starts out saying "The Tampa Bay area ranks high above the national average in violent crimes. How can you protect yourself and your family?" whilst displaying canned images of crime scene tape and chalked murder scenes, then launches into a very enthusiastic gun store commercial.
It's not as enthusiastic as the commercial for the regional chain's Orange County branches, though. About two ticks down from this level of enthusiasm:
