Entertaining BtVS S1 fics are few and far between, and I'm having so much fun reading this one. Also, the author is a sweetie. So, I simply have to spread the word!

This story is a series rewrite, starting from Welcome to the Hellmouth. Except there's this one significant difference. The sexy and mysterious guy following Buffy around isn't the tall, dark and broody one, but the shorter, blond and snarky one. That sure puts a different spin on things...
All the character voices are spot on. I especially like the inner thought process and observations of young and carefree Buffy. The dialogue is full of humor, and parts of the dialogue from the show are used in a nifty way here and there. The character interaction and dynamics between Buffy and Spike, and also the rest of the Scoobies, is absolutely delicious. There's definitely no shortage of witty, snarky banter here, and ooh yes, the sparks are flying from the get-go! So far, the story has progressed to the episode of 'The Pack'. And let's just say I'm really looking forward to the next chapter and the *gasp* BIG reveal!
All in all, so far this story has been a delightful read, and you should go ahead and give it a try. Really. :)
