A couple of vid recs
Idk, what is it about the dark side of Spuffy that fascinates me so much these days? Why do I feel so drawn to these kind of vids in my current frame of mind? Whatever it is, these two vids really made a strong impact on me, and I keep watching them over and over again.
Spike & Buffy Uninvited (Alanis Morissette) by Tessa Ray
"Buffy resists for as long as she can. AU, where happy endings are rare."
This is a very intense and powerful exploration of the dark side of Spuffy. They are truly tearing each other apart here! I especially like the way Spike's vamp face is used in a couple of places. It gives me the chills! All in all, this video is beautifully made!

Down (Jason Walker) by fenixjpb
Set during AtS S5. Buffy misses Spike. Spike misses Buffy.
This video is not as angsty as the first one, but the tone is sad all the same. And there's no happy ending in this, either. Or, as I'd like to think, not yet, anyway. There's lovely little details scattered here and there. My personal favorite moment is when Spike touches his cheek. You'll understand when you see it...
Oh, and I love the song!
