Meet the Settlers!
The Shelley Family: Vanessa, the Founder
Growing up in a small village where everybody knew everybody was how Vanessa pictured the perfect childhood. How much she had wished to see her mum as a proud suburbia woman watching her little ones playing with the neighbour’s kids while enjoying a quiet spring afternoon next to her husband and a nice cup of tea. What she got instead were endless hours of watching tv alone in a high class flat with snob neighbours while her parents worked their ass off “to buy her more toys” which of course couldn’t stand up and hug her when all she needed was some love and attention.
Vanessa wants to have a proper family, to hear the sound of little feet on the kitchen floor, to make her children hot chocolate in cold winter days. What better place to start building her dream than Blossomby Brook?
The Stewart Family: Bernice and Christopher
This handsome blond guy and his classy sister came to Blossomby Brook for one reason: their ears (okay, make that 2 reasons). Nobody in their family knows where they come from although it is thought that it might have something to do with the Stewarts’ alien descendence. Poor Bernice has tried to hide her little flaw for all her life with ingenious hairstyles but she’s never been comfortable with herself. So when she heard about this group of settlers trying to develop a new community she begged for her brother to come with her and badabing badaboom, the Stewart siblings are ready for a fresh start!
The Anderson Family: Rudolf
Rudolf strongly believes he used to be a freaky blonde chick in a previous life, as all he cares about is having fun. But a caring, bubbly and somewhat crazy individual has no place in the hardworking Anderson Family, best known for producing ginger and freckly nerds since 1934. His ideal accessory have never been round dull glasses and he’d rather spend all day singing with a microphone in his hand than writhing with a gold refined pen. Not willing to spend the rest of his life with an ordinary and unappreciative family, sentenced to 8 hours of doing paperwork per day between four walls, Rudolf decided to join Vanessa in this really promising and unprecedented adventure.
The Greenhill: April and Nicholas and Hart: Crystal Families
Nothing interesting here, just a lovely, quiet couple looking forward to start a family and a garden. Oh, and there’s also Crystal…”the little rebel”, as April, her older sister calls her. No one knows the exact reason they decided to move to Blossomby Brook. Could it be that Crystal is expecting an illegitimate baby, or that she’s committed an atrocious crime back in her city? Will the other settlers be able to trust them after finding their plans and intentions?
“I couldn’t care less, dude!” says the little rebel.
The Perry Family: Timothy
Timothy’s family tree represents “a bunch of snobby, attention seeking bastards” as he calls them. In common words, he comes from a very wealthy and well known family that hasn’t given him the opportunity to go to the corner shop in his jammies without the annoying paparazzi flashes following him - a situation which would make even this sensitive gentleman lose his composure. Of course no one asks him if he’s related to Matthew or Katy Perry because they all know him too well to commit such a stupidity. But right now that’s all that Timothy wants, as this question implies that the asker doesn’t know him at all. That’s why he thinks he needs Blossomby Brook more than anybody else…
