Speaking of fic: It's so frustrating lately that I have this idea for a fic that has been haunting my thoughts for about two or three months, but I lack the energy to sit down and write it. Every time I hear a certain song--which I listen to a lot, it being one of my all-time favorites--I'm hit all over again with the urge to write down all of the things I'm seeing in my head like video. But alas! No energy.
Not that I write a lot of fic to begin with. (Or any, really.) But still, it's the thought that's frustrating. Does this ever happen to the considerably more successful writers on my flist? Is exhaustion considered a form of writer's block?
I'm listening to that song now, by the way, just to punish myself. I'm not like that usually, but about my failure to be a writer, I am.
