Laws, Sausages, and Police Work

My days have become routine. As is now my custom, I had a meeting with Hiram and gathered up both my portion of the take and a list of people who I could and should apprehend in the next week. We have a portion of a new no-work contract for one of the larger data warehouses in the city. I should learn more about politics as well as businesses, as the two are intertwined and would make getting such work (or non-work, as the case may be -- such a fascinating and lucrative concept).

The routine has truly become stultifying, though. Even my new neural control unit provided a bare hour of entertainment, though it was enjoyable having the criminal march herself to the station.
