I'm only happy when it rains
I'm a bad blogger, but I've been busy.
My old roomie Cheri came to visit last week.We had fun shopping and trying to find her a good view of Mt. Hood. we also saw Mammal Mia, which squaw actually pretty good. It makes me want to break out my Erasure CDs. They have some great Abba remakes. I probably wouldn't have seen it on my own.
It has been so dang hot lately, like in in the 100s. We have ac (which is a rarity here), but they put one in that is too small for our house, and if it is on too long it could freeze up, and it is not working right, so my mom has been known to turn the ac off in the middler of the night. I have to sleep with covers (my OCD). Two words: night sweats. A storm blew in Monday, so it's nice and cool now...but dark. Oh, rain!! Now, I can sleep though.
I am trying to finish Breaking Dawn. I still have about 100 pages left. My heart just isn't in it I hate Bella. She's so selfish and a horn-dog to boot. (Actually, most girls I've known are...) Bella...the whole thing just upsets me to no end. I was expecting so much more. When she was sipping blood as a human...I almost got sick...I would never let a 13 year old read this crap. It reads like a bad soap opera.
I've also been watching the Olympics. Fun stuff.f Michael Phelps is amazing, but he reminds me too much of my brother's stupid friend Chris, so I have a hard time respecting him. Wait for the drug tests to come back first. I'm mad at the gymnastic's judging, but I love Bela Karoli and is comments. What a cuddly Teddy Bear with a Romanian accent!!
