He was declining, and I met Heather at Birch-Dan for a final goodbye.

Heather sent over this update and picture of Gramps. I saw him at Heather's a couple weeks ago, and held him on my lap and petted him while he headbutted for more. He is a total sweetie, and I guess it takes a while to get used to indoors after being out for so long.

Gramps is still at the vet. Well... at a different vet, but at a vet nonetheless. He's very sick... infected wound on neck, frost bitten ears, rotten teeth, and possibly a jaw tumor. He's been on IV fluids and antibiotics had his mattes shaved off & bathed ( Read more... )
