Sylvia and I went to see the new Sherlock Holmes movie.
AND BASICALLY IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN TITLED "Sherlock Holmes: Bitter Ex-Boyfriend Extraordinaire."
SERIOUSLY. He sulked SO MUCH and then--
"So you'll get married and I'll die alone."
HE CALLED IT A RELATIONSHIP AND: "Relationship?" -- *snittily* "Fine. Partnership."
AND JESUS TAPDANCING CHRIST THE DANCING.
Also, I love Mary so fucking much.
"He'd have wanted us to go." -- "He'd have wanted to come with us."
She knows so well that he's just as in love with Watson as she is, lol.
Lol forever at Holmes and Mycroft one-upping each other the second they saw each other. Oh brothers.
My biggest complaint would have to be how easily Irene got offed. It was just very Disposable Woman and ugh. Idk if it had any basis in the original canon, obv, but I still really disliked it.
Overall, though, very enjoyable.
