oh hum.

The past couple of months have given me way more alone time than I have had in many years. It's always interesting to find out who you really are when the carousel stops spinning. Sometimes scary, other times exhilarating, but always interesting.
The music and lights go off and everyone goes home. The brass ring suddenly takes on a silverish hue. Here I sit on the winged zebra-fish that I have chosen to ride upon. In his eyes I can see pride that has not yet been justified. He relates to many yet knows no others quite like himself. he can stop to swim with the fish for a spell, but must fly with the birds in the heavens as well. Can he ever truly find a home? Can he really belong anywhere?
The twisted carnival of fate has dealt me many wake up calls of late, although I hadn't the slightest inkling that I was even asleep. All this time alone and what have I learned? Mike is too complicated for his own good.
