A snob? Moi??
Okay, so a friend recently called me a television snob. At first, I couldn't figure out if I should be insulted, but then I thought it over and decided what the hell, it's true.
This all began when my friend asked me if I had caught the latest "Survivor" series and I said, in my usual pleasantly sardonic way, that I would rather pluck out my pubic hair one-by-one with a pair of tweezers than watch a reality show.
I don't know what it is, but outside of "American Idol" (and I don't even start watching that until after the contestants are picked), I cannot stand Reality TV. I have nothing against those who do watch it, but it's not for me. I get so impatient with the stupidity of half of these people.
My friend, of course, states that that is the best part of these shows, I still can't make myself sit through an hour of my life that I will never get back to watch crap I can't stand.
Truthfully, I don't even watch that much tv and if I do, it's mostly CSI, CSI: Miami, Forensic Files, Haunting Evidence, Most Haunted Live and Ghost Hunters.
Thus began the snob moniker.
Anyway...she and I are still friends :P
