What Am I Doing?
I got a big trip planned to Ambergris Caye and I told myself I would start saving money for it starting, well, last week.
What do I do today?
I take my friend out to dinner, which I don't feel guilty about. She had to put her dog down last week and I wanted to treat her.
Again, what do I do today?
I, knowing I wouldn't be able to just browse (even tho' I kept telling myself I would), walked into Neighborhood Knits (my local yarn shop) and upon seeing they had a sale...proceeded to buy $50 worth of yarns.
$50 I could have used for the trip to AC. I just recently started knitting and I never realized how addicted I would become. I've got so many projects I'm wanting to do, that I went ahead and bought yarns that would make cool hats and gloves, tank tops and a poncho.
Now, I'm wanting to buy some interchangeable needles...I swear, I will wait until I get back from vacation before I lay down the bucks for those tho'.
Ah, who am I kidding? They're on sale for 25% off til Fri, I'll be going back and getting them tomorrow. ::Sigh::
They'll be my last big purchase until I come back, I promise.
