How about....we quit travelling to Iraq. Ground Air Force One from making vacation trips. Remove all heating from DC cause there's enough geothermal energy from all the hot air. Pour money, and I know this may come as a shocker, pour money into...*gasp* ALTERNATIVE FUEL SOURCES. *falls over* OMIGOD. Lightbulb! Holy shit. What a concept. Instead of building more and more refineries to further increase our dependency on a limited natural resource which pollutes/destroys the environment and hacking environmental laws, put that money into research and development.
