*squee* | Spoilers for Degrassi Takes Manhattan (tv-movie)
So, I don't how many of you follow long time TV series, Degrassi, but I grew up watching the original series and was ecstastic when they came out with The Next Generation, following it religiously for the first few years before eventually moving on to the likes of The OC, lol. But some of my favorite characters always stuck with me, which is why I have a pretty good collection of Jay/Emma stories I've written.
Recently though, thanks to the gem that was Degrassi Takes Manhattan, I had a very old ship come sailing back to me.

So I'm sure I was one of the very few who liked the possibility of these two when the show first began and even I gave up on it going anywhere. Until last night when I watched DTM and *spoilers* they got married! I know what you're thinking... WTF! lol But honestly, it was just the sweetest thing. Sure, I've already planned to rewrite it, if only to give some in-between and show a little more Spemma love so their nuptials don't seem quite so sudden, but overall, I was really happy that they got together.
I'm fully aware that a lot of Emma/Sean lovers are going to rip this couple to shreds and I'd be content if neither Spinner or Emma ever came back to Degrassi just so I could comfort myself with the idea that these two crazy kids made it! haha.
But anyway, I just wanted to see if any other Degrassi watchers supported this odd coupling or not. Please, no hating!
