(no subject)
First off - thank you to Radhanama for that amazing gift! I love BG Sharma's work. Radhanama sent me this very large square book about BG Sharma's art. And it is so so so nice. Wow. For those that don't know BG Sharma:

Second off - sorry I haven't been posting or commenting regularly. I fried out my computer in the rain (don't ask!) and had to have the hard drive replaced... and before that I was on a road trip for 2 weeks. The road trip was very very cool. I went to NYC for Rathayatra (spent a week total there) and then on to New Vrndavan for the one and only, and hope again, KUUUUULI MELA.
New York was awesome. We left a few days before Rathayatra so that Amala Krsna, who was visiting in Detroit, could get to the airport in NYC as he was going to California. So it was me, Amala Krsna, Shakuntala and Jahnava driving to NYC. We dropped Amala Krsna at Narottam's place in Manhattan (after the 10-hour drive) - thanks Amala Krsna for helping to drive! - and then continued on to the temple where we dropped off Jahnava and picked up Krsnaa. Shakuntala and I were staying with Krsnaa and she was at the temple so we picked her up and she gave us directions back to her place in New Jersey. She lives in Weehawken which faces the west side of Manhattan - really amazing view. Her neighborhood is on a very high cliff so pretty much from any building around there you have an amazing view of Manhattan. And at night it is really breathtaking. Too bad my hard drive got ruined because I took some really cool pictures. This computer technician is trying to recover my files but he said there is only a small chance he will have success. We'll see...
