A Special Christmas Card For You
Well, as some of you may have noticed, I have Failed in Getting Out Christmas Cards this year. I have received beautiful cards which I hang up and decorate with, but this year I couldn't manage it.
Oh, we did try. We even took a family portrait on the tractor for one of those ever-popular photo cards (which I like because they require little effort). You will notice that Dan and I have Matching Flannel Shirts, because that is how We Roll:
Unfortunately, as you can see, we would have had to sign these "Love, Joad Family and Cat Demon." It would have taken a lot less effort just to rip random pages out of The Grapes of Wrath and mail those to you all instead. So, in lieu of actually expending effort on a task I hate anyway, I will just say "Merry Christmas," hope you are all well and peaceful, and hope the New Year is Shiny with Promise.
